"Our Founder Message"

Yog Instructor Surender Garg, born into a business family, embraced a yogic lifestyle in 2009. He diligently learned and practiced yoga at the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga in New Delhi, under the guidance of various Acharyas. Surender holds a yoga diploma from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya and has attended classes in alternative therapies such as Marma Therapy, Food Therapy, Pranic Healing, and Dietary Classes for Diabetes in the United States.

Having practiced and taught Yogasanas, Pranayama, and Meditation since 2009 in New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Surender has had the privilege of learning from different Yogis and Saints, acquiring diverse techniques and meditation practices. With gratitude and a commitment to the welfare of the public, Surender aims to share the knowledge acquired from his Gurus. His experience as a manager in a charitable hospital in Bhira Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, equipped him with insights into health issues, which he utilizes by applying Yogic Science to eradicate these problems.

Forget about whatever you’ve seen/heard/felt/talked/thought about Yoga. Yoga is NOT about uploading fancy, difficult poses on social media. Yoga is NOT sitting with your eyes closed & only meditating. Yoga is NOT stretching or weight loss. Yoga is NOT about ‘controlling’ your thoughts or emotions or breath. Yoga is NOT “3 asanas to cure thyroid/diabetes/PCOD” – Stop using Yoga as a quick fix & bandaid because it won’t work that way. It’s just a marketing tactic to fool you. Yoga is NOT entertainment or contortions or gymnastics or acrobatics or stunts or any performance or competition
Then what exactly IS Yoga? Let me tell you – 
 Yoga is a beautifully designed 5000 year old scientific technology to cultivate awareness, self-regulation & higher consciousness in the human individual. Yoga asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana are just a “medium” through which you can cultivate all that mentioned above. 
Yoga is liberating yourself from memory – Right from when you’re born, you’ve attained so much of memory : Karmic memory, Genetic memory, Atomic memory, articulate memory etc. Through Yogic practices, you’re distancing yourself from past memories and determining who you are right now. Liberating yourself from information like your identity of likes, dislikes, compulsions, habits and patterns. 
Yoga means to break the cycle of life – If you are going in circles, it just gives you an impression that you are going somewhere but you are not really going anywhere; you are going through the same thing again and again. Yoga means to open up the circle and stretch it out like a straight line, so that if you follow the line you will go somewhere – you are not going round and round. 
 Yoga is a “union” of yourself with the Universe, with your Higher Self, with your PURPOSE, with your true-naked-self.
